
Through its continuous dedication in support for the fight against Cancer Liberty Botswana has donated P50 000 to Duduetsang Chappelle-Molloy who is to beat all odds, hike up and summit Mount Kilimanjaro in August. Although Chappelle-Molly has been planning to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro since 2010 with her best friend as it was a girlfriend’s life wish list, the quest comes about sadly after the friend lost the fight to cancer last year. Chappelle-Molloy has personally vowed to raise P250 000 for the Happy Hearts project in building a more than P 3 million home for children and their caregivers from outside Gaborone as there is only one paediatric cancer centre in the country at Princess Marina Hospital. Happy Hearts is a project between Cancer Association of Botswana (CAB) and Ladies Circle Botswana (LCB). The interim home will be built in Block 8 at the Cancer Association of Botswana plot 35843 which is a 5576 square meters piece of land.
