
The annual Journey of Hope Botswana ‘Big Journey’ is back on the road on the 9th August 2018 and this time around the ‘pink’ entourage‘s will tour the Kweneng district. “Every year for the past eight years, we have travelled on pink scooters throughout Botswana (including Shakawe, Maun, Kasane, Pandamatenga, Sefophe, Palapye, Lobatse, Ghanzi and Kang) in order to spread breast cancer awareness because ‘early detection can save lives," said Onica Lekuntwane, Journey of Hope Botswana Public Relations Manager. The pink scooters and vehicles will depart from Mugg & Bean restaurant in Sebele Mall Gaborone early in the morning on Thursday next week (9th August) for Lentsweletau where their mission will commence later on that morning. The journey will then proceed to Kopong later on in the afternoon same day. Other places that are to be visited in the Kweneng district include Hatsalatladi, Molepolole, Takatokwane, Letlhakeng, Thamaga, Kumakwane and Mmankgodi.
