Something big and revolutionary is expected to hit the local insurance industry at the end of May 2017 courtesy of Alpha Direct Insurance Company. Though the company officials are tight lipped about the nature of product to be unveiled, this publication has been informed that a big launch will be held on the 27th May 2017. Currently Alpha Direct is running pre-launch campaigns termed Get400. Alpha Direct’s Chief Operations Officer Arjun Iyer said they cannot disclose details on the campaign yet, adding that such will remain a top secret until the launch on 27 May 2017. “What I can say is that it is something big and revolutionary that is coming. It is something that has never been done in the country and brings in innovation to the insurance sector,” he said. Iyer revealed that only five employees at Alpha Direct know the details. This, however, has not deterred Batswana from taking part in the prelaunch campaign which has gone viral in social media.
