
The Institute of Development Management (IDM) has unveiled its new partnership with Ohio University. IDM Country Director Onalenna Seitio-Kgokgwe hailed the partnership with Ohio University, saying they will work with them on programmes like Culture and Heritage that will be based in Swaziland. “We are also going to set a centre in Ohio where we can also work,” she said. Gillian Harper Ice from Ohio University in the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine said health sciences is her home and they are very excited about their partnership with IDM. “Everyone is impressed with the opportunities and the connections that we have, and Ohio University has been working here in Botswana and our lecturers always come here,” she said. Ice said it is always exciting for them to work with countries in Africa, and they are happy to have alumni in Botswana who have graduated from Ohio University. She said they want to continue to see what they can do in health and how they can develop projects that can develop the health field in Botswana.
