The current Acting President of Botswana National Front (BNF) Reverend Dr Prince Dibeela has described the troubles currently bedeviling the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) as nothing but a beginning of new things to come. “Remember that before the birth of a new thing there is always pain,” he said. Dr Dibeela was speaking at a press conference convened to update the media on the preparations of the BNF forthcoming Conference. He said that even though the BMD is going through a rough patch now, Batswana should expect that at the end of the day the party would most probably be able to regroup and together with other parties constituting the Umbrella for Democratic Change present Batswana with a viable alternative government. “I wish the BMD well as they prepare to go for their national elective conference in Bobonong. May they return as a united party with less causalities,” he said.
