With Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) president Duma Boko’s much anticipated judgment announcement on the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) saga, the political amorousness between the Botswana Peoples’ Party (BPP) and the BMD’s Ndaba Gaolathe faction is reportedly getting sultry. UDC spokesperson Moeti Mohwasa has confirmed that Boko will deliver judgment on the BMD saga on Tuesday evening. For months now, the once close-knit BMD family has been at loggerheads with itself. Some have been aligned to Gaolathe while others are adamant that Advocate Sydney Pilane is their leader following the violent Bobonong in July. Now the BPP/Ndaba faction romance is reportedly to have reached some fever pitch and getting to a point of no return. BPP was to hold a meeting at Setlalekgosi junior secondary school yesterday (Saturday). For a substantial period of time now, unremitting allegations of the BPP working hand in glove with the Ndaba faction towards forming a new political party have been flying thick and fast in the dogmatic corridors.
