Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Molepolole’s Sebele 1 Primary School – one of the best performing primary schools in the Kweneng region. This was done at a prize giving ceremony at the school on Thursday. The theme of the day was “Nurturing the 21st century learner the tripartite system”. Sebele 1 Primary was established in 1945 and has gained itself the title of an English Medium, which is not common with government schools. This is because of their pass rate and the eloquence of the students in the English language is very high. BAC Executive Director Serty Leburu shared her excitement at being able to celebrate achievements and excellence by the students of Sebele 1 Primary. She said they are proud that Sebele 1 primary is living their core value of excellence as a university. “This adoption follows the government’s campaign for the industry and private sector to collaborate in developing the education sector in Botswana through the improvement of facilities, teaching methods and initiatives for good learning experience and imparting knowledge and skills to the students at an early age,” she said.
