Publishers of The Patriot on Sunday – Inskip Investments (Pty) Ltd – have launched yet another product. News BEAT is a social human interest magazine that offers a refreshing analysis on on-going news developments. Managing Editor Mpho Dibeela said: “We have plunged into this space for various reasons – to provide laid back behind-the-scenes in-depth stories; to step into the human interest stories space and to enhance news sharing medium. We believe an opportunity exists to continue to break down and analyse news developments – going beyond just announcements and breaking news to providing an enhanced offering on why certain developments occur as they do, why individuals behave as they do and consequences of some individual or organisational activities.” This is part of the company’s ambitious growth strategy which has seen it launching The Patriot Woman magazine in 2015; a weekly newspaper in Namibia in 2016; and the Patriot on Sunday’s northern edition in May 2017. “We are convinced that our growth into being a stand-out media player shall be enhanced by the launch of these products.
